Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Designer in the Engineering Consultancy Industry in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta. As a Senior Electrical Designer you will complete 2D and 3D drawings for various projects and manage documentation such as BOMs. You will mentor junior Designers and support their ongoing development. A typical day: Create detailed electrical schematics and drawings utilizing AutoCAD. Utilize Bluebeam and NavisWorks for project documentation and coordination. Working with Engineering to design and implement electrical systems for oil and gas projects. Ensure compliance with electrical engineering standards and regulations. Maintain and organize project documentation. Successful candidates will have: 8+ years of experience in electrical design/drafting. Experience with a small to mid-sized EPC/EPCM firm strongly preferred. Exposure to oil and gas projects. Proficient in the latest version of AutoCAD (2D/3D). Experience with design and drafting of Modular E-Houses & Pump-Houses, capable of coordinating with Structural/HVAC disciplines. Ability to review P&ID’s and to work with vendor shop drawings.
