Agilus is recruiting for a Snr Electrical Engineer in the Oil&Gas Industry in Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to the Lead Electrical Engineering, you will participate in the conceptual through detail design, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems or products. In this role you will be assisting in the design and execution of projects ranging in size and complexity. The Sr. Electrical Engineer will also be responsible for providing a great service to existing clients and coordinating project requirements with various team members. Responsibilities: Solve design problems by use of engineering knowledge, and application of relevant codes and standards; supporting junior and intermediate staff to develop this knowledge Plan, organize and prioritize work including delegating/supervising project deliverables Follow company and industry standards; supporting junior and intermediate staff to meet the same requirements Complete/validate engineering calculations, and review design drawings and documents within the electrical team Authenticate deliverables after validation Provide updates on work status to Lead Electrical Engineer Requirements: Comfortable working in a dynamic work environment with a range of engineering, technical and operational personnel Strong demonstrated computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel) Small-midsized EPC experience, fabrication experience would be an asset 10+ years of experience What's in it for you: Placement at well respected EPC company 4 days in the office, work from home Friday Contract position - possible long-term extension
