At CAE, our teams are committed to always being innovative and staying at the forefront, by joining our centralized planning and control team for software engineering, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in decisions and programming related to the technological migration of software tools used by all engineering towards the latest software standards of the industry. This is why we need your expertise and passion to complete our team! Here are tasks specific to this role, in support of engineering activities:

  • Bring the organization’s applications to the next level in a cloud environment on an Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Add functionality to existing web applications.
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with the company’s best practices.
  • Design secure, scalable and performant environments for artificial intelligence applications based on .NET and Microsoft Azure.
  • Collaborate with the internal information Technology team to review AI-enabled application architectures for security, compliance and non-functional requirements.
  • Configure and manage continuous deployment via Microsoft Azure DevOps (CI/CD).
  • Participate in the analysis, budget planning and definition of deadlines for the development and maintenance of new web applications.
  • Fix bugs and optimize existing applications.
  • Model or modify SQL databases.
  • Support the evolution of platforms (virtual machines).
  • Document processes in UML.

We are looking for a person capable of showing initiative, motivated, diligent, resourceful, with strong skills in analysis, conceptualization and programming. The highly collaborative work environment requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Knowledge of migrating applications to cloud computing on the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Knowledge of React.
  • Knowledge of C#, .Net.
  • Knowledge of Terraform.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Containers.
  • Perfectly bilingual (French and English) orally and in writing.

Assets:

  • Knowledge of MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture.
  • Knowledge of REST architecture as well as Web APIs.
  • Knowledge of unit and functional testing techniques.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Knowledge of web programming languages ​​such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
  • Knowledge of “GIT” version management software.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2019 with IIS.
  • Knowledge of Agile / Scrum / DevOps methodology.

Desired education:

  • More than 5 years of experience in React, C# and Microsoft Azure.
