Altis is thrilled to partner with a well-known public sector organization on the recruitment of experienced (post-award) Contract Specialists for a 1-year contract with potential extension.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days a week on site in North York (400 & Sheppard area).

Responsibilities:

• Manage corporate-wide contracts for goods and services.
• Handle pre-award (specifications, procurement) and post-award (vendor performance, contract administration) activities.
• Monitor vendor performance, resolve disputes, and manage contract amendments.
• Analyze expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on spending trends.
• Source new suppliers and negotiate pricing.
• Coordinate with stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:

• Strong contract administration experience in a public procurement environment.
• Knowledge of contract law and commercial document preparation.
• Experience with budget management and expenditure analysis.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Ontario G License.
• Post-Secondary Education in Business.

Assets:

• Procurement certifications.
• Experience with SAP Procurement Modules.
