Our client is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join their team! This is a 12 month contract, has a strong possibility of becoming permanent, and is hybrid in downtown Toronto.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Accounts Payable transactions and verify invoices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Input and reconcile data in Oracle Accounts Payable and Coupa.
• Maintain organized financial records and vendor accounts.
• Support financial analysis, journal entries, and reporting.
• Assist in system testing and maintain procedural documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and manage vendor relationships.
• Prepare and review reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience in the banking/financial industry, particularly foreign bank operations.
• Experience with Oracle general ledger is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
