Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate FIAB HF Welder.
  • Experience using Miller hot air welder is an asset.
  • Preform required maintenance on machine and tools.
  • Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Measure, mark, cut and weld vinyl.
  • Join various vinyl material together.
  • Make finished hems around the perimeter of various vinyl products.
  • Cut various materials to specified specifications with scissors.
  • Fold/roll and prepare vinyl to be shipped.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures.

Critical Qualifications

  • High school Diploma.
  • Experience working with vinyl (an asset).
  • Ability to use measuring tape (Imperial/Metric).
  • Stand walk for 7-8 hours.
  • Able to crawl around on knees.
  • Able to get up and down safety from floor level.
  • Able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Good hand eye coordination skills.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO UNDERGO A PHYSICAL EXAMINATION TIED TO THE NEEDS OF THE JOB.

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
