Alta Vista Animal Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada welcomes a Board-eligible or Board-certified Veterinary Dentist (permanent, full-time) to join our associate specialty team.

General Requirements:

• A valid DVM degree or equivalent, able to practice in Canada.

• Candidates must be board-certified (ACVS) or residency-trained (and eligible to sit for board examination) in Dentistry

• License in Ontario or eligibility to be licensed with the CVO

• Proficiency in advanced dental procedures, including root canals, periodontal surgery, extractions, and dental radiology

• Ability to explain dental conditions and treatment options to pet owners clearly and compassionately

• Exceptional precision and attention to detail

• Strong organizational skills to stay focused and effectively manage tasks under pressure

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills; committed to helping train and mentor interns and technicians.
