The Controls Specialist is responsible for continuously improving?automated systems?to increase?equipment efficiency in?high-throughput operations. Responsibilities: Support Maintenance?Management?by communicating effectively and providing guidance to both the Electrical and Automation Teams Execute industrial mechanical knowledge of process automation, PLC programming, HMI?improvements?and?robotic operations Ensure functional design specifications are understood and successfully delivered on time and within budget Involvement in new project engineering and controls programming?? Utilize lean-manufacturing principles by improving process capability, reducing overall costs, and increasing capacity?? Requirements: Post-secondary?education in engineering, instrumentation, process control or electronics???? 5 years of relevant experience related to industrial process automation Ability to prepare technical documentation such as shop drawings, operating?manuals,?training manuals, equipment reports, and employee assessments Ability to lead and mentor Jr. associates; exercise a strong sense of teamwork????
