Business Management

Supports Director / COS in executing strategic priorities, enable operational excellence, and deliver winning culture initiatives for the Marketing Data, Analytics, & Loyalty (CDAO) team. Manages cross-functional relationships and liaison with key stakeholders to gather and integrate information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes and/or streamlined reporting. Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations. Supports the development of effective, consistent communications that includes preparing high-quality presentations on behalf of leadership team for various audiences across BMO. Leads and coordinates the logistics of winning culture initiatives & events.

• Supports development and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.

• Conducts independent review, analysis, and resolution of strategic issues.

• Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues.

• Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.

• Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.

• Leads or participates in defining the communication plan designed to positively influence or change behaviour; develops tailored messaging; and identifies appropriate distribution channels.

• Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.

• Ensures alignment between stakeholders.

• Ensures the effective planning and control of operating expenses in accordance with business forecasts to ensure spending is maintained within budget.

• Employs systems (e.g. customized exception reports, tracking reports etc.) to manage information.

• Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis and/or streamlined reporting.

May network with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practices

• Develops the business case by identifying needs, analyzing potential options and assessing expected return on investment.

Other Accountabilities & Qualifications:

Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.

• Assists in the development of business strategies and plans to ensure readiness to meet changing business needs & strategies to support future growth.

• Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.

• Supports the determination of priorities, current initiatives and planned initiatives in partnership with the business/group and supports requirements related to strategic management for the business/group.

• Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives.

• Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.

Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study (Engineering, Business) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

Salary:

$68,000.00 - $126,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
