Agilus is recruiting for a Project Manager in the oil & gas industry in Sarnia, Ontario. The Project Manager will lead and oversee projects in the oil & gas and energy industries. The PM will ensure the seamless delivery of projects by managing resources, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency. A typical day: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate all aspects of project execution, including design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing, and field construction. Monitor progress and ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved. Lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams. Facilitate communication among all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring expectations are clearly understood and met. Provide regular updates and maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address challenges and provide effective solutions to ensure project continuity. Ensure compliance with all industry standards, company policies, and client requirements. Promote a culture of safety and quality across all project phases. Maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports, budget updates, and risk assessments. Provide post-project evaluations and lessons learned to improve future processes. Successful candidates will have: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. 5 + years of project management experience in the oil & gas, energy, or heavy industrial sectors. Project Management software proficiency Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction processes Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders effectively. PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification is an asset.
