Agilus is recruiting for a Warehouse Material Handler in the Manufacturing Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. Our client is a large Manufacturing company specializing in Micro-Electronic manufacturing. They are seeking a Material Handler to join their kitting team. This is a full-time contract position from Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM. Responsibilities: Transfers excess materials between customers Picks and packs materials for customer shipments, puts stock away in warehouse, and maintains warehouse and work environment Work with company inventory system; perform cycle count activities, enter and verify the accuracy of all inventory transactions and corrects errors Recommend process improvements Resolve discrepancies and recommend change to process to reduce future discrepancies Expedite shortages or potential shortages to ensure orders are fulfilled in a timely manner Completes the set up of new cells or assemblies to back flush Requirements: 0 - 1 year of experience in a warehouse or electronic manufacturing environment, junior experience as a Material Handler is an asset Strong organizational skills Able to work independently as well as in collaboration with team members Basic Math skills would be an asset English communication is required, French is considered an asset but not required High School education minimum Must be legally eligible to work in Canada What's in it for you: $18 per hour Weekly pay and 4% vacation payout included Strong possibility of being hired permanently by the client
