About This Role

Senior Manager – Learning Solutions

The Senior Manager Learning Solutions oversees the full product life cycle of highly complex, large-scale, strategic courseware and business initiatives for the civil business, and leads project managers to deliver courseware training material.

Job Description

In collaboration with the Civil business units and global technology group, the senior manager will:

  • Defines the product life cycle business case and is accountable for delivering the roadmap
  • Assess market needs and competitive landscape
  • Define development and update requirements
  • Manage regulatory change management tracking
  • Ensures conformance to all IP management rules and guidelines by project team
  • Lead internal and external proposals
  • Accountable for budget control and reporting
  • Define go to market collaterals in collaboration with marketing
  • Works with teams to identify and evaluate project risks and issues
  • Lead internal and external program governances
  • Own the product and project management processes
  • Lead a team of project managers and optimize the performance to reach business goals
  • Resolves project work/scheduling problems by reprioritizing activities
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders such as Heads of Training, Area Leaders, Training Center Leaders, Sales, Procurement, Legal, IP and Regulatory to ensure alignment on project deliverables

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s degree or MBA a plus
  • Minimum of 8 years’ program management experience, aviation and courseware a plus
  • Experience in working with Training and Development teams and delivering training products to global audiences
  • Strategic mindset to think beyond the tactical work and deliver a complete product experience
  • Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles
  • Base decisions on objective data analysis
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrable experience of working and communicating with various levels, both within and outside the company, including senior management, technical staff, and end users.
  • High-level attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills
