Uniacke Lakes Animal Hospital is growing and welcomes another Veterinarian, DVM to join us! Our new hospital in beautiful Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia opened in 2024, and is nestled just 10 minutes from Sackville, and 25 minutes from the Valley. Having proximity to nearby vet care emergency hospitals, we enjoy no on-calls, no overnights or Sundays/ holidays! With our diverse and collaborative team, new veterinarians are welcome to apply and will be supported along their career growth. More about us here

  • A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada

  • Experience in; soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice.

  • Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and community

  • A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey

  • An interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues

  • A love for all companion animals!!
