This position is exclusively open to students in the process of obtaining an academic degree 

Internship date : May 5th to August 22nd 2025

The role we are offering you:

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work within our dynamic FinOps team, where you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the financial aspects of our cloud platforms. You will be at the heart of technological innovation, using your programming and analytical skills to automate processes and create efficient solutions.

The mandate of our FinOps team is to strive for operational excellence and cost efficiency of infrastructure while maximizing business value. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with experts in engineering, finance, and business, fostering accountability and synergy between teams. Are you ready to:

• Collaborate with different teams to identify and implement cost optimization solutions

• Create and implement cloud governance policies with automation at the core of the solutions

• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency

• Improve and automate cloud cost management processes

Our ideal candidate has:

• A good knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure)

• A good knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, PowerShell, CLIs, and Terraform

• Excellent leadership skills

• Strong communication skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of financial management of cloud platforms is an asset

Preferred Education

• Currently pursuing a university degree in computer science, software engineering, or other related field.

Location of the internship is in Montreal, at CAE’s headquarters.

Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.

*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
