We are seeking a qualified Teleport RF Engineer for our Pulantat, Guam location.
• Support all global Teleport operations, currently consisting of four sites in Kapolei, Maui and Molokai, Hawaii, and Guam. HPT is also considering expanding to other Pacific Rim locations and partner teleports in CONUS and Europe
• Provide Engineering Expertise for the design of new customer requirements, source vendors, develop project and implementation plans. RF Network Design for Satellite Networks is required.
• Provide RF Engineering Training for staff.
• Review and comment on all engineering plans, programs, and designs as needed.
• Manage assigned teleport vendors, striving to always get the best value and having quotes from multiple vendors.
• Provides system design plans and documents for all recent programs and review existing RF systems for upgrades and repairs.
• Drives Company success to achieve and surpass customer service deliverables on time and on budget.
• Works with COO to evaluate customer requirements against HPT existing infrastructure. Provides estimated costs for required equipment purchases and infrastructure upgrades necessary to deliver customer service and assume responsibility of the management of implementation from contract execution to start of service.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
• Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Engineering degree, preferably Electrical Engineering and RF Satellite Communications, or relevant work experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of documented experience in Satellite Communications Network Design, Repair and Operations. Knowledge of Uplink and Downlink Chains and System Design.
• Must be able to work for any U.S. employer without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
