Reporting to the Director, Business Integration and Engagement, the Senior Manager, has an important responsibility for overseeing the development of all external communication and stakeholder engagement activities, leads divisional change management activities, and guides a diverse team whose priority is to shape the business process technology landscape within TRA.
The position is a leader in expert and professional communication and consultation to ensure the appropriate level of organizational change management is planned, communicated, and executed for a wide range of complex organizational initiatives including strategic planning, project implementation, and operational improvements. All of this while building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders operating in diverse and complex business environments.

• Lead and oversee project coordination and delivery across the division for more than twenty programs to ensure development and
maintenance of TRA’s systems are highly integrated from a business process perspective, support cross program/cross functional applications
for diverse business users.
• Develop and implement structured change management activities that promote inter-branch cooperation and ensure TRA’s readiness and
adaptability to future opportunities and challenges.
• Deliver TRA’s engagement strategy by designing and delivering strategic engagement plans, liaising with Communications and Public
Engagement for all external communication and media releases, and identifying opportunities and developing innovative approaches for
increasing awareness of TRA’s programs with stakeholders, taxpayers, other ministries and jurisdictions.
• Supervise and oversee the daily operations of Service Delivery and Communications team including setting goals that align and contribute to
the branch, division and department strategic business plans, final responsibility in the unit for allocation of assigned staff to working groups
and assignment of responsibilities to ensure goals are achieved and promotes a healthy corporate culture that aligns with GoA values.
Working within multiple tax statutes, programs, policies, and business applications, the Senior Manager requires a significant breadth of technical knowledge, experience and ability to establish agreement and consensus among multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

A university degree in Business or a related field with a minimum of 6 years’ related experience.
Equivalencies may be considered based on a one-year experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.
Assets:
• Demonstrated strong project management of complex projects and short timelines.
• Exceptional communication skills and developing collaborative working relationships.
• Extensive knowledge of tax and revenue programs administered by TRA and ability to apply and interpret related legislation, regulations, and
policies.
• Leading the development of systems and applications from a business or technical perspective (e.g., business requirements, testing, systems
design, etc.).
• Applying change management principles, processes, and tools in an organization.

Hours of work: 7.25 hours per day / 36.25 hours per week (Monday – Friday).
