Agilus is recruiting for a Project Technical Specialist in the automation solutions industry in Oakville, Ontario. The Project Technical Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and guidance on assigned projects that require engineering involvement and discipline. This includes design support, preparation of technical documentation, technical management of subcontractors, design verification, and manufacturing support. A typical day: Development of technical documentation in support of the projects Registration of pressure boundary components/systems Support review of procurement plans, and purchase requisitions (REQs) Provide technical input to support the preparation of requisitions for subcontracted engineering services, and products Provide technical support for vendor/supplier inquiries Provide support for Manufacturing and assist in the resolution of manufacturing challenges and problems Successful candidates will have: Degree in industrial or mechanical engineering or a related field 3 years of project engineering experience Excellent technical knowledge in all aspects of manufacturing, assembly, purchasing, quality assurance, testing, and project coordination Strong problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Total rewards: Competitive salary Benefits Hybrid work schedule
