Agilus is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator in the Automotive industry in Windsor, Ontario. Responsibilities: Responsible to coordinate production orders against demand and forecast and purchase material, as required Coordinate and monitor logistics of movement of materials within the facility and ensure that materials and shipped and received on schedule Place orders based on the demand identification/requisition from the supervisor. Make suggestions for improving the accuracy and timeliness of information needed to place purchase materials and schedule production activities Communicate with the production floor and shipping. Develop supplier base to ensure the company is getting the best value. Track, monitor, and orders consumables Maintain and administer inventory control through maintenance program. Track and control costs. Compile detailed work sheets and specifications Compile detailed work sheets and specifications. Estimate type and quantity of materials and labour required for production. Prepare and maintain various reports Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have a technical background in maintenance manufacturing environment Should possess strong calculative and analytical skill sets. Ability and effectiveness to manage time to meet required deadlines College level diploma or equivalent education and work experience. Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, & Visual Use all resources effectively. High level of data accuracy. Must be detail orientated Strong negotiating skills are required.
