The Manager of Enterprise Analytics is part investigator, part storyteller, and part guide, able to refine and oversee a cohesive operating model that produces insights and analysis to meet our business’s needs. This person understands the full life-cycle – from intake to design and delivery - of how insights and analysis can come to life for our business to use.

While this role is part of Enterprise Data & Analytics within our Information Technology Services team, you will be partnering across the organization to drive them forward on their data journey. You will be exposed to, and responsible for enabling, the entire value chain of a global organization that accomplishes operational excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Refine and oversee an operating model for our Analytics team, from intake to execution.

  • Coach and mentor a team of analysts as they support our internal teams in measuring and evaluating our businesses effectiveness.

  • Support the production of externally facing reporting by designing, overseeing and executing processes that comply with our regulatory and audit requirements.

  • Manage the production of routine management reporting using a variety of technologies (Power BI, Excel, Oracle Data Visualizer).

  • Research new ways for business performance to be measured and support the business in their evaluation and adoption of those new measurement metrics.

  • Experiment with and explore our rich data to identify trends and emerging events to support leadership.

  • Support other technical teams in their understanding of how to best support an analytics function as they develop and implement new technologies.

  • Collaborating with data and insight consumers to build services and products that effectively use data and insights to further our business’s objectives.

  • Collaborate with your and other teams to respond to ad hoc data and information requests from business leaders.

  • Collaborate with and challenge leaders throughout the organization to make better use of the data.

  • Present findings and observations to business leaders.

  • Ensure data is being handled in accordance with all applicable standards and regulations.

  • Work with business representatives to interpret data from source systems and understand data usage considerations and constraints.

  • Establish relationships with data product owners, data owners and data consumers to support the further development and evolution of data products.

  • Lead new data sharing and collaboration initiatives, support continuous improvement, provide direction to rapidly evolving opportunities, and negotiate innovative solutions to complex and diverse challenges.

  • Support formal user acceptance testing activities such as test case creation, execution, and issue resolution.

  • Develop your craft as an analytics professional as you work with our team and our business to understand their challenges and work with them to build effective, sustainable, and valued solutions.

Qualifications

  • Able to establish and execute auditable quality review processes.

  • Understanding of data security and data governance.

Must have:

  • 3 years of experience in a management or technical lead role, preferably with teams focused in the data domain.

  • 5 years of experience with providing enterprise-wide data analysis, both routine and ad hoc, in large, complex organizations.

  • Demonstrated prior experience in business analysis and requirements gathering.

  • Experience presenting results of data analysis to senior leaders.

  • Strong technical competency in data analysis tools and languages such as Power BI, Tableau, R, Python or similar.

  • Experience producing analysis for audiences external to the organization with processes that are subject to external review.

  • Familiarity with data management and data governance concepts and methods.

  • Understanding of different management measurement frameworks such as OKRs, KPIs, KRAS.

  • Understanding and experience working with agile development practices.

  • Excellent knowledge of standard concepts, best practices, and procedures within a data analytics environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize and present technical requirements of proposed solution.

Assets:

  • Experience with finance, HR, payroll, HSSE, ESG and project related data.

  • Experience working within or serving in a management role in a Professional Services organization.

  • CPA designation or similar.

  • Experience with leveraging data from ERPs, particularly Oracle.

  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Oracle Data Visualizer and the wider Microsoft Power Platform suite is desirable.

  • 8 years related experience

  • Related degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
