Agilus is recruiting for a Maintenance Planner II in the oil & gas sector in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
A typical day:
Develop and document maintenance work packages, Conduct field walk downs to identify and document job requirements, Identify potential safety hazards and recommend administrative controls, engineering control techniques, or other mitigations (initial JHA development).
Estimate required hours, by craft, to perform work and skills required to perform tasks, Identify requirements of equipment isolation and lock-out plans. Collaborate with technicians and area field engineer as needed.
Identify and document required materials, Identify and document required special tools and equipment, Identify and document system and operational impacts.
Review job scope, procedures, and jobs plans with lead technicians & Supervisors, Update maintenance work packages based on feedback from technicians, Complete initial and final work order screening process for accuracy and completeness.
Weekly Scheduling: Prioritize maintenance work with stakeholder input, Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor and RMA to develop weekly routine schedules, Communicate with and maintain a positive working relationship with the Engineering, Operations personnel, Maintenance personnel, and other internal and external stakeholders, Maintain KPIs as described in the Work Execution Management Standards.
Lead the weekly maintenance scheduling meeting, Ensure all resources are identified prior to start of jobs (parts, drawings, manuals, tools, manpower, mobile equipment, etc.),Complete all mandatory safety training (First Aid, H2S alive), Complete all required technical training. (TBD).
Outage Scheduling: Communicate site/area operational outage requirements with the Region Outage Coordinator, Enter COPAS requests for planned work resulting in system/ operational impacts, Assist in the development of area outage plans and schedules, Ensure all resources are identified prior to start of jobs (parts, drawings, manuals, tools, manpower, mobile equipment, etc.), Coordinate PLM and other resources as needed.
Collaborate with SCM to specify and procure parts and materials, Generate contractual work orders for contractor support, Collaborate with field techs and RMA to develop BOM’s (Bill of Materials),Ensure that drawings, asset records, and technical records are updated as required, Collaborate with the Operations Services Maximo Analyst and Region RMA to integrate new project Maximo functional tags, PMs, and asset records into the existing system, Collaborate with Supervisors, Area Technicians & Region RMA to optimize the coordination of PM scheduling and execution.
Successful candidates will have:
Minimum of 10 years of related mechanical work experience OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
Experience using computerized maintenance management system (Maximo),Experience using capacity outage planning and safe work approval (COPAS).
Ability to read and understand P&ID/ single and one-line drawings and OEM manuals, Knowledgeable in oil/gas pipeline operations is desirable.
Responsible for planning and scheduling mechanical maintenance.
Reports to the Supervisor Maintenance Planning, Works closely with Regional Engineering group, Area Techs & Supervisors.
Ability to work alone and manage workloads, collaborate and work with others, safety and operational procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills, maintenance planning and scheduling skills, solve problems and develop ,documentation skills.
Occasional daily travel of 50-100 km between assigned stations, Travel throughout the region for emergencies, training, and region meetings.
