Agilus is recruiting for an Optical Assembly Technician in the Manufacturing Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. Our client is hiring an Optical Assembly Technician with previous experience and working knowledge of a manufacturing environment. This individual will assist Engineers with set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Responsibilities: Repairs and maintains electro-mechanical PCB manufacturing equipment Installs and maintains new or more complex manufacturing equipment Identifies and troubleshoots malfunctioning manufacturing equipment Contributes to semi-routine analyses and documentation updates, relating to materials management, manufacturing, or test processes • Participates in preventative maintenance according to detailed specifications and schedules Requirements: 1-2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred and considered an asset 2-year Technical Diploma is preferred and considered an asset Legally entitled to work in Canada What's in it for you: At least $18 per hour, up to $24 per hour Weekly pay including 4% vacation Growth and development; the opportunity for a long-term position with a reputable company Overtime opportunity
