Job Opportunity: Product Owner

Duration: 1 year
Location: Hybrid/Remote anywhere in Canada

About the Role:
Altis Technology is seeking a Product Owner for one of our Public Sector Clients based in Saskatchewan. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog
• Communicate and negotiate with business and Facilities stakeholders
• Define non-discretionary work to maintain product health
• Create and maintain a prioritized backlog of initiatives
• Negotiate stories into Agile sprints or cycles
• Ensure transparency and clarity of the product backlog
• Produce and communicate product requirements backed by data-driven decisions

Qualifications:

• Product Owner Certification (asset)
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner
• Experience with physical construction projects or the built environment
• Organized multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
