Our valued Federal Government client is currently seeking a Technical Architect to support multiple ongoing projects aimed at replacing aging Information Technology (IT) systems with the goal of providing law enforcement and public safety agencies with modern IT solutions that will enable automated business processes, provide advanced data analytics tools, and enhance collaboration within the law enforcement community.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create the logical and physical designs for application architecture and their interoperability in a public cloud environment;
• Research, analyze, recommend and select technical approaches to address challenging development and integration problems with application architectures hosted in the public cloud environment;
• Design and implement cloud-based authentication solutions that support multi-agency, multi- factor authentication requirements;
• Support the design and implementation of High Availability cloud services;
• Deploy and operate compute, database, storage, and other computing infrastructure;
• Establish toolsets and processes supporting cloud development and operations, including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems;
• Develop implementation plans for the deployment of application architectures within the cloud environment;

Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of Technical Architecture experience
• 3+ years of experience building, configuring, deploying and maintaining Cloud- hosted applications
• 1+ years of experience using Azure DevOps and managing containerized workloads using Cloud services such as Azure Kubernetes or OpenShift
