Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer with a proven track record of deploying enterprise-scale Cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor polyglot development teams to build scalable, secure Cloud platforms.
• Design and deploy production-grade environments using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Certifications are preferred for this role 
• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Flux, and Argo, and automate deployments with GitOps practices.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Build and deploy containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Conduct automated testing for infrastructure and Cloud configuration artifacts to ensure code quality.
• Monitor and troubleshoot services using CNCF tools like Prometheus, Fluentd, and Jaeger.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to advocate for best practices and innovative ideas.
• Collaborate within lean/agile/Scrum teams to deliver robust solutions while adhering to CI/CD principles.

Qualifications and Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a platform engineer or software developer.
• Proven expertise in designing and deploying enterprise-grade environments on GCP, Azure, or AWS (professional certifications are preferred).
• Experience with IaC and GitOps tools (e.g., Terraform, Flux, Argo).
• Proficiency in build automation tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CNCF projects, including Prometheus, Fluentd, and Jaeger.
• A commitment to quality through automated testing and iterative development (code, test, refactor).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligible for security clearance.
