The AWCC Support position is required to perform a variety of duties. The first priority is to process reports of wildfires reported via the emergency 310-FIRE telephone line. In addition, they are responsible for general reception calls, completing data entry, posting reports to the website, and supporting the various wildfire operations daily activities.

This competition is for seasonal wage AWCC Support position with weekly hours up to 36.25 and projected terms of employment from April 2025 to September 2025. Those selected for an interview are requested to bring three work-related references.

Wage employees receive 11.2% in addition to regular wage earnings in lieu of paid holidays and vacation leave:
Shift differential and opportunity to work overtime, evening, and weekend shifts.
