Agilus is recruiting for a Advisor-Operational Excellence in the Oil and Gas Sector in Calgary, Alberta. We are seeking a dedicated Advisor to join our team. You will collaborate with SMEs and leadership across all Operations & Logistics to assist in planning, implementing and sustaining Suncor’s process-based Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS) and other projects as required. Our OEMS is fully integrated system that is leader-led, using standardized processes focused on risk, reliability and operational performance. A typical day: Identify and prioritize OEMS continual improvement opportunities through collaboration with various process owners/leads responsible for OEMS implementation. Support targeted OEMS improvements and lead initiatives through change management and people readiness activities across O&L Business Areas Participate in the planning, development, delivery and sustainment of processes and practices related to OEMS and continual improvement initiatives Compile data and develop PowerBI dashboards to support the implementation of OEMS processes Creating a timeline of goals to be met, developing project plans, delegating project tasks to teams best suited to complete them, tracking project performance and analyzing deliverables against requirements Successful candidates will have: University degree with 5 or more years of experience, preferably in one of the following areas: Operations, Projects or Commercial / Business Management Services, Safety/Risk A minimum of 3 years’ experience in management systems or risk management systems or previous integration experience. Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Visio Software skills, advanced Excel #1, MS Project and PowerBI # Skill in negotiating agreements and resolving conflicts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes Knowledge of or ability to learn oil and gas equipment, terms, and general practices.
