Agilus is recruiting for a Drilling Supervisor in the oil & gas industry in Calgary, Alberta. A day in the life: Drilling work will be in the Montney between Ft St John BC and Grande Cache AB. Mono-bores are planned 90% of the time, the others being multi casing stings. Multi well pads with total depths up to 8000m, so 5000 meter laterals are common. Drilling fluids include water based gels and polymers, Brines and Invert. Typically liquid lubricates and copolymer beads are used. There is some rotary steerable work and some MPD work depending on the well and area. Although Well Control and loss circulation do occur, they are not regular problems. Successful candidates will have: Different rotations right now with the various rigs they include 2 weeks in / two weeks off, and 20 days in / 10 days out, so I have some flexibility depending on each rig. 12 hour rotations in each case. Safety Tickets : CSO, H2S, WHMIS, First Aid, TDG, Gas Detection, Bear Awareness, BOP and valid drivers license Total rewards: Competitive compensation 12 months contract position
