Uncover your impact and see how your organizational skills shape wildfire logistics. As a Wildfire Logistics Assistant reporting to the Logistics Coordinator in one of Alberta’s Forest Area Offices, you play an integral role in supporting wildfire needs.
In this dynamic, ever-changing environment, your collaboration with various parties is essential. With the guidance of the Logistics Coordinator and Duty Officer, your demonstrated communication skills and agility ensure success in managing changing priorities and coordinating resources.

This competition is recruiting for seasonal wage Wildfire Logistics Assistant positions across all Alberta Forest Areas (Calgary, Edson, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, High Level, Lac La Biche, Peace River, Slave Lake, and Whitecourt).
Estimated term of employment is from 3 to 8 months during the wildfire season, anticipated between March 1 and October 31.
Extended hours could be required at little to no notice, depending on the wildfire situation. Hours are accumulated based on work schedule (5 days on and 2 days off, or 10 days on and 4 days off).
