Your Opportunity

We are seeking a professional and dynamic intermediate civil technologist to join our highly successful water practice in Regina, SK.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed studies, review plans, and design tasks associated with municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater systems, irrigation, dams, and water control structures including engineering drawings, engineering reports, and technical specifications.

  • Engage in the development of design through sketches, diagrams, and other visual formats, and prepare and revise documentation in various civil phases including site plans, utility plan/profiles, grading plans, cross sections, submittal reviews and response to information requests as required.

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams, clients, or other consultants.

  • Undertake field work or field investigations where required.

  • Assist in proposal preparation where required.

  • Meeting with clients, municipal officials, and contractors to review project needs and coordinate field conditions.

  • Actively support growth strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

Capabilities and Credentials

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience

  • A minimum of a degree in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited Technical College or University or equivalent.

  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience providing design services and contract administration services on municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater systems, irrigation, dams, and water control structures projects in the Province of Saskatchewan.

  • Project Management and Business Development experience.

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required, as is an ability to work independently within the bounds of direction provided by the project manager.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities on projects.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software is an asset.

  • Must Possess a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.

  • Travel may be required.

  • Willingness to work in a team environment.

Education and Experience

  • Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent at minimum.

  • Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require field work or site visits on occasion.
