The xScale FP&A Team is a key support partner to the strategically important xScale business. The Senior Manager, xScale FP&A will report to the Director, xScale FP&A and will lead a small, global team that is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of all revenue and SG&A costs. The team is responsible for the full P&L consolidation, and plays a pivotal role in providing key insights that support business decision making. The Senior Manager is responsible for preparing and presenting quarterly guidance to our Finance Leadership team, as well as to the xScale business management team.
The xScale business is a growing initiative for the Company, it is scaling quickly and of high strategic importance. This role will require an entrepreneurial mindset, and the successful candidate will be required to work cross-functionally in the pursuit of streamlining activities and finding the most efficient processes to implement. There is a wide scope to get involved in how the team works on a daily basis, make a significant impact, and find opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
Acts as the trusted advisor to cross-functional business leaders, in particular the xScale management team, anticipating their needs and makes recommendations based on knowledge of the business and analysis performed
Coordinates with partners and teams in the Americas, Europe, and Asia
Budgeting and forecasting:
Reviews templates, consolidated analysis, and presentations to enable the budget and forecast process
Reviews and completes more complex forecasting including the strategic long-term model
Reporting:
Presents strategic planning reports for key stakeholders and executive management to help facilitate decision making
Completes more complex reporting initiatives
Financial Analysis:
Identifies and resolves complex technical, operational and organizational problems ·
Requires diligence in making evaluative judgments based on the analysis of information
Control/Compliance:
Completes purchase order approvals, new headcount approvals, and oversees HC reconciliations
Qualifications
7+ years’ experience in finance or related field preferred
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
Master's degree (MBA) and/or CPA/CFA certification preferred
Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with senior business leaders
Advanced Excel skills
Business partnering and people management experience preferred
Enthusiastic with passion to learn, grow, and have an impact
