Agilus is recruiting for a Project Manager in the Oil & Gas Equipment Fabrication in Calgary, Alberta. Our client is looking for a Project Manager that will oversee multi-million-dollar equipment fabrication and installation projects from initial award through to site completion. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering and Project Execution, this position has responsibility for ensuring successful execution through excellent communication and collaboration with customers, suppliers, sub-contractors, and internal teams. Responsibilities: Collaborate with project engineers and drafting teams to ensure compliance with customer specifications. Review and interpret manufacturing drawings, contracts, technical specifications, and design codes. Support purchasing and production teams as needed to meet project objectives. Prepare project documentation, technical reports, and sub-contractor bid packages. Communicate regularly with customer commercial and technical representatives. Provide monthly progress updates to customers and quarterly financial reports to the leadership team. Manage multi-disciplinary activities throughout the project lifecycle, including design, fabrication, site installation, commissioning, and equipment startup. Requirements: Technical degree or diploma in an engineering discipline, PMP designation considered an asset. 5-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Utilities, or similar industries. Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings, technical specifications, and design codes. Familiarity with ASME codes and standards. Knowledge of thermal/heat transfer principles, combustion systems, mechanical engineering design and modular fabrication is considered an asset.
