Agilus is recruiting for several Project Managers in the Entertainment Industry in Vancouver, British Columbia.
We are seeking experienced Project Managers to lead and deliver projects effectively and efficiently. This role involves managing all aspects of project planning, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessment, while ensuring compliance with privacy, security, and governance standards. Responsibilities include overseeing agile teams, managing testing and quality assurance, and maintaining detailed documentation to support communication, auditing, and project success.
Responsibilities:
Utilizing a project management methodology and processes for project activities and gates; creating and managing standard project management artifacts and activities as required, including project plans, budget, scope, schedule and timeline, risk register, status reports, and others, with a focus on effective delivery.
Conducting initial project planning, soliciting estimates, requirements and user stories, incorporating change management, establishing timelines, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
Obtaining and allocating resources: assigning tasks to agile delivery team, allocating resources effectively to ensure project success.
Ensuring compliance with information privacy and security assessments, and project governance, procedures and practices, including escalating unresolved issues.
Monitoring project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and align with project requirements, managing testing activities as required.
Content and business writing and maintaining accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes, for communication, future reference and auditing purposes
Successful candidates will have:
A strong background in projects within IT Asset Management or Device Management domains, including familiarity with ITAM frameworks, cyber security, and Zero Trust best practices.
Expertise in large hardware replacement rollouts, including knowledge of modems in retail environments and mitigation strategies to address unexpected challenges.
Experience with application implementations using vendors and partners for deployment, including web development, website infrastructure, SaaS applications, mobile applications, and complex integrations.
Exceptional organizational, planning, and scheduling skills, with strong attention to detail.
Outstanding time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver project outcomes efficiently
Familiarity with predictive and hybrid project management methodologies and experience managing projects in Kanban/agile styles, leveraging tools such as Jira.
In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including scope and budget management, work breakdown structures, scheduling, stakeholder management, communication planning, risk assessment, and readiness assessment.
Familiarity with the gambling industry is preferred.
Further additional qualifications:
Sound judgment and discretion in resolving or escalating project issues, making recommendations to the Project Sponsor, Steering, or Governance Committees.
Proficiency with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Office Suite/SharePoint, and MS Project.
Experience working with a Crown corporation preferred.
Familiarity with cyber security and Zero Trust best practices.
A strong background in large hardware replacement rollouts.
Total compensation:
$90.00 - $110.00 hourly
The successful Candidate will provide up thirty-seven and a half (37.5) hours per week of services, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Pacific Time, excluding statutory holidays in British Columbia
