Agilus is recruiting for a Lead Turnaround Scheduler in the OIl and Gas Industry in Redwater, Alberta. Our Client is looking for a Lead Scheduler with a strong background of leading Turnarounds / Shutdowns. Responsibilities: Supervises and Leads the Turnaround Scheduling team; works closely with the team to understand and correct any issues that may arise Integrate with Turnaround planning and execution teams to ensure schedule alignment with execution strategies Perform regular schedule quality checks and drives correction through continuous feedback and coaching Track and report scheduling progress and drives the team to complete scheduling milestones Assist with tracking and reporting of all items that effect schedules throughout all event or project life cycle phases Understands earn value methodology and provides reporting as required (s-curves, earn value curves, resource curves/histograms) Perform ad-hoc what if’s and ensure adjustments of master schedules as required Ensures completion and or complete Daily/Weekly schedule progress updates; inputs progress as required and report on progress; drives progress registration to be completed accurately and on time; ensure proper schedule alignment with electronic progressing tools Successful candidates will have: Strong background in Managing the scheduling function for all Turnaround or Small Projects events Experienced at Supervising, leading and developing Turnaround schedulers 10+ years working on major Turnaround projects What's in it for you: 6 month + contract Excellent rates of pay
