Agilus is recruiting for a Micro-Electronic Splicer in the Manufacturing Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. Our Client is seeking a Splicer for their Assembly department. All shifts are Monday - Friday and our client is hiring for each shift. Days: 8 am - 4 pm Evenings: 4 pm - 12 am Nights: 12 am - 8 am Responsibilities: Manipulating ?ber optic cables (& others) to ensure working connectivity Testing, calibrating, identifying, and troubleshooting any issues that arise Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, speci?cations, work orders, and reports Using software such as SmartPRL, Agile, and Excel to document and maintain projects Requirements: Fusion splicing &/or mechanical splicing experience needed Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred Worked with single-mode ?ber and polarization-maintaining optical ?ber types Hands-on experience with splicing instruments such as fusion splicers, recoaters, strippers, and cleavers What's in it for you: At least $18 per hour and more compensation considered based on experience Opportunity for overtime Opportunity to work a long-term position with a reputable client who can provide career growth
