Agilus is recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst in the IT sector in Regina, Saskatchewan.
The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and improving business processes and systems. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to identify needs, develop solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of new systems.
A typical day:
Act as a representative for the business requirements, ensuring they are accurately captured and addressed
Define and design the business functionality of systems to align with organizational goals
Ensure that systems meet the established business requirements and deliver expected outcomes
Identify business problems and opportunities, providing clear definitions and conducting benefit analyses
Perform comprehensive business and systems analysis, articulate logical design alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions
Conduct functional analysis and design, meticulously documenting detailed business requirements
Execute functional testing of system changes and support user acceptance testing to ensure seamless implementation
Contribute to the development of training strategies and assist in business implementation planning to facilitate smooth transitions
Successful candidates will have:
Possess a degree in a relevant discipline such as Commerce, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrate a solid understanding of business principles, with experience across a broad range of business function
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of general IT project methodologies, processes, and best practices
Maintain a good understanding of information technology and information systems
