Our federal government defence client needs a consultant to support Economic Metrics And Measures For Cyber Damage Assessment project.


Tasks: 
  • Opportunity cost losses: Following a cyber breach, there are mission activities that must be postponed, stopped, or diverted. Human and material resources are diverted, etc. The client wants to assign cost measures to these losses using empirical data from client networks, users, and missions.
  • Supply chain loss costs: Following a cyber breach, losses in the supply chain (both sides) should be expected. The client wants to know how to quantify this loss, and how empirical data could be used to calculate it or forecast it.
  • Reputation loss costs: The client wants to quantitatively estimate the costs associated with reputation losses and damages resulting from a cyber breach.
  • Collateral damage losses: Following a cyber breach, there may be collateral damage losses. The client wants to quantitatively estimate the costs to such losses.
  • Wellness losses: There wellness losses following a cyber breach. The client is seeking methodologies to quantitatively estimate the costs to such losses.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Must hold a college diploma or university degree
  • Experience conducting economic analysis (such as cost and benefit analysis), including economic impact analysis for three (3) projects over the last seven (7) years.
  • Five (5) years of experience in conducting analysis of the economic cost modeling (such as impact of investments), programs, policy changes, or cyber-attacks within the past seven (7) years, as demonstrated in three (3) projects of similar size and scope.
