Our retail client is seeking a Strategic Project Manager to join their team. The Strategic Project Manager will lead multiple high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving successful execution. This role requires expertise in project management, strategic planning, and team leadership, with a focus on delivering outcomes that align with business priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Design and optimize processes, tools, and workflows to achieve organizational outcomes, prioritizing workstreams and resources effectively in collaboration with senior management.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels, fostering alignment and transparency across teams and leadership.
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Guide cross-functional teams, providing direction, motivation, and fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment.
  • Track project progress and performance using appropriate tools, manage discussions, assign action items, and actively address risks and roadblocks to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing strategic projects; experience in media/advertising is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable. A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
    • Proficiency in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
