This competition will be used to fill current and future vacancies for temporary and permanent Talent Acquisition Consultant positions and/or fill future vacancies, across the Government of Alberta, at the same or lower classification level.
Candidates who are successful in the selection process will be placed in a talent pool. The number of positions to be filled has not been identified at this time.

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will be responsible for full cycle recruitment in a high-volume, fast paced environment which includes:

This requires strong verbal and written communication skills, proven analytical and problem solving abilities, as well as the ability to evaluate interrelated concepts to deliver sound business advice.

A two-year diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related area plus one year of related experience; or equivalent as stated below:
Equivalencies will be accepted on the basis of a university degree or a related one-year certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution and two years of related experience. Directly related education or experience will be considered on the basis of one year of education for one year of experience; or one year of experience for one year of education.
Preference will be given to applicants with 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources.

Successful candidates will be placed into a talent pool, at which point their pre-employment checks will be conducted and their suitability will be assessed. Those who are matched to a vacancy will be contacted; those who are not will be part of the talent pool for six months.
