Agilus is recruiting for a Manager, Clinical Support Services in the non-profit industry in Victoria, British Columbia.
This new full time permanent position is responsible for supervising and developing staff and contractors while ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapeutic services.
A typical day:
Provide leadership and management to the Therapeutic Services department, ensuring the effective delivery of services to clients with developmental disabilities
Where appropriate, conduct psychological assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic services, including individual and group therapy, to clients
Work closely with Behavioural Consultants, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other specialists to deliver coordinated care and ensure holistic support for clients
Provide counseling, resources, and strategies to clients and their families, with a focus on trauma-informed care, strength-based interventions, and functional capacity development
Offer training and guidance to staff, caregivers, and community partners on therapeutic approaches and strategies to support clients in various settings
Collaborate with team members to develop, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions that promote community inclusion and improve the quality of life for clients
Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and other required documentation. Prepare reports and communicate updates to families, caregivers, and relevant stakeholders
Successful candidates will have:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology with current registration in good standing with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (CPBC)
Extensive experience in working with adults with developmental disabilities, including therapeutic interventions, assessment, counseling, and community-based programs (Autism Spectrum Disorder experience is an asset)
Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and providing supervision to therapeutic professionals
trong knowledge of trauma-informed care, behavioral interventions, family systems theory, and familiarity with relevant provincial acts/regulations governing services for persons with disabilities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and community partners
