Agilus is recruiting for an Account Manager - Engineering & Technical Sector in the staffing services industry in a hybrid work environment in Edmonton, Alberta. You will establish relationships with Alberta employers and represent top talent for roles in oil & gas, energy, engineering, and other technical roles. You are motivated to deliver on the outcomes your clients are seeking, and you take pride in establishing yourself as a trusted advisor. How you will make an impact: Business Development: identifying and generating new business development opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, brand awareness and growing existing accounts Client Relations: building successful business partnerships with existing and new clients. Acting as the main point of contact through first inquiry to invoice, proactively resolving any issues and consulting for better outcomes Account Management: managing job order fulfillment to achieve client satisfaction and consistently and accurately updating our ATS/CRM system Colleague Interactions: partner with Recruitment Consultants for order fulfillment, build cross-departmental relationships, engage with and support peers Successful candidates will have: Successful experience in a business development, sales driven role in the service sector with an understanding of the Alberta market Previous staffing industry experience/exposure is beneficial Knowledge of technical sectors including oil & gas, energy and engineering Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding established KPIs Expertise in researching and developing prospect/client profiles and actioning sales strategies Understanding of and capacity to use technology effectively and efficiently Resiliency to make one more cold call Strength in negotiating supported by strong business and financial acumen What's in it for you: Start at 3 weeks’ vacation + wellness days + community day Robust flexible benefits program including access to mental health care provider program Compensation model is base salary + commission plan + contest bonus eligibility Ability to participate in ESOP program (upon 1 year anniversary) Flexibility to support work+life through hybrid work model Cellphone allowance and company laptop Work community that values diversity, equity & inclusion Ready!
