Agilus is recruiting for a Design Engineering Supervisor in the automation solutions industry in Oakville, Ontario. This role will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of advanced tooling, automation, and robotic systems while establishing and maintaining engineering design standards. A typical day: Lead the design team throughout the project life cycle. Overseeing day-to-day design engineering tasks, collaborating with cross functional teams, providing technical solutions, leading and mentoring the design team, and ensuring project success. Successful candidates will have: Post-secondary degree in industrial or mechanical engineering or a related field 7+ years of experience in design engineering 2+ years of experience in the nuclear tooling industry 2+ years of experience leading and/or supervising a team of engineers Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Ontario is considered an asset Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective team collaboration Experience with Solidworks; experience with Solidworks PDM Vault is considered in asset. Familiarity with operating under a quality management system (CSA N299.1). Must have strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
