The SCSS Modernization Office is responsible for the modernization and digital re-engineering of SCSS programs to deliver simpler, faster and more cost-effective services that better meet the needs of Albertans, staff, service delivery partners and others. The office is an integral part of the SCSS Digital Transformation.
This Modernization Office position focuses on digital transformation for the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT). As the Digital Solutions Analyst, you will be reporting to the Director, OPGT Service Delivery, and will be a key resource in the mandate of the SCSS Modernization Office with operational responsibility for implementing digital services. You will work day to day with the Digital Product Owner and product teams focusing on innovation and developing digital services to meet specific business and user needs within OPGT including contributing to systems that support complex financial processes (e.g., financial and client case management system).
Key responsibilities of the Digital Solutions Analyst:
You will work in a complex environment including the Modernization Office branch within the Strategic Services division, the Office of Public Guardian and Trustee, partnering divisions and Technology and Innovation and must build effective relationships to be successful in delivering new digital services that meet user and business area needs.

To be successful in this role, a candidate will demonstrate:
Requirements:
A University degree in related field (e.g. information technology, business administration, public administration, social sciences, business, economics, finance), plus 2 years progressively responsible related experience. Equivalency of directly related education or experience considered on the basis of 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.

The hours of work are 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
