Are you interested in technology and looking for an opportunity in which you can develop new skills and grow your career? Bell MTS is looking for candidates for Field Service Technician and Line Cable Technician roles across the province. When you join our Field Services team, you’ll receive all the necessary training to help you succeed as a Technician, and be provided ongoing support as you progress your career.

 

Our Field Services team is proud to be the face of the Bell MTS brand. Our Technicians thrive on providing installation and repair services for business and residential customers using the latest technology.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Possess a High School Graduation Diploma or equivalency Certificate
  • Post-secondary education related to Technology/Engineering would be considered an asset
  • Ability to communicate and create a courteaous impression when dealing with customers
  • Are self-starters and able to work with minimal supervision, with willingness to work independently in remote locations for extended periods of time
  • Able to manage a physically demanding workload involving heavy lifting, carrying heavy equipment, climbing and working aloft (poles, ladders). Pole climbing training will be provided and must be passed if not currently certified
  • Willing to work in confined areas (such as manholes) and work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Willing to complete various security clearance levels to meet customer business requirements
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays
  • Possess a valid Manitoba driver's license and are willing to travel throughout the province by vehicle, boat, airplane, helicopter, fixed wing plane, ATV and snowmobile
  • Have experience and/or knowledge in Test Equipment & Testing Principles (this would be considered an asset, but not required as training will be provided)
