Our valued Crown Corporation client is currently seeking a Scrum Master to join them on a 1+ year contract opportunity. A Hybrid work arrangement out of their Regina office is preferred, however remote work will be considered for the right candidate. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Strengthen Agile and Scrum practices to foster flexibility and adaptability within teams.
  • Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies as required.
  • Design and implement innovative Agile workflows and methodologies.
  • Promote the overall health of Scrum teams by addressing obstacles, encouraging collaboration, and cultivating an empowered, high-performing team.
  • Resolve blockers hindering the Scrum team’s progress.
  • Encourage teams to develop self-organizing capabilities.
  • Shield the team from distractions, both internal and external.
  • Collaborate with IT and stakeholders on complex products and value streams.
  • Assist product owners in setting and communicating clear objectives and priorities.
  • Support the Product Owner in ensuring that the team understands scope, commitments, and overarching goals.
  • Provide effective guidance in managing and refining product backlog

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience is required.
  • Experience working in Scrum.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master, Certified SAFE Agilist, etc

Education

A relevant degree/diploma is considered a strong asset 

Nice-to-Haves

 

  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Expertise in information management, data governance, or policy development domains.
