Our client ARLANXEO is seeking a Mechanical & Piping Designer to join their team.
Agilus is recruiting for a Mechanical & Piping Designer in the oil & gas industry in Sarnia, Ontario.

Responsibilities:
Prepare AutoCAD drafted piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), based on Process Engineer sketches
Prepare AutoCAD Plant 3D models, 2D CAD piping isometrics, 2D CAD general arrangements, and mechanical bill of materials
Plant 3D administration (updating component libraries). Conduct 3D model review sessions with project stakeholders
Provide piping support during construction. Prepare As-Builts of mechanical / piping during project closure
Prepare mechanical / piping designer manhour estimates. Interact with a multi-discipline Engineer & designer project team
Assist Project Engineer with Engineering schedule development / updates
Maintain record drawing list registers for production plant
Focus on maintaining / building Production Plant relationships
Successful candidates will have:
1 to 5 years practical project experience with the following areas would be an asset: Construction Work Packages (CWPs), Piping Specifications, NOTE: new graduates with relevant post-secondary education will be considered
Post-secondary education : Engineering design and drafting technology diploma, Related technical diploma or certificate, Example: Mechanical Drafting Technician diploma
Ability to interact / communicate with all stakeholders of the project team, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple complicated tasks under pressure
Experience within the oil and gas industry (EPCM)
Experience in brownfield design an asset
Strong computer skills including MS Office products, MS Outlook, MS Excel databases, etc.
